PIZZA IS BACK!! Join us for a slice or two.

Join us as we welcome our current Watershed Ambassador for Watershed Management Area #6 – Upper Passaic, Whippany & Rockaway Watersheds Anthony Tamberelli. Anthony will talk about the NJWAP experience — from program requirements to examples of activities and projects completed.

Anthony is a Montclair State University alum with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Marine Biology — dedicating four years to research on curtailing non-native jellyfish populations in Barnegat Bay.

After graduating from MSU, Anthony aspired to use his knowledge and experience to educate others about science and nature. He first found a place at Round Valley Recreation Area, where he served as a Visitor Service Assistant and taught visitors about the park’s environment. He was then rewarded with a position in the AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassadors Program alongside 22 other Watershed Ambassadors, where he currently teaches people about our local watersheds and how to protect them. americorps.gov
