Rain Gardens
Stormwater management can be beautiful. The WRWAC, the Rutgers Extension and the Boy Scout Troop 155 worked together using a grant from the Watershed Institute to build and maintain a demonstration rain garden at the Whippanong Library in Hanover Township, NJ. This rain garden intercept, treats, and infiltrates 3,300 cubic feet of rainwater each year on average.
